Resposibilities of Secretary

The Secretary is the head of the BPSC Secretariat. He executes the decision and recommendations of the Commission so far as it relates to the administrative function of the Secretariat. Whenever the Commission is required to give advice, or to act on proposals, or to be consulted by any authority of the Government the Secretary communicates the decisions/recommendations of the Commission. The major responsibility of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat is to assist the Commission in discharging its constitutional responsibilities. The secretariat is a division of the Government to deal with the personnel administration & human resource development of the secretariat.
